What is a Luminaria?
Luminaria are those glowing bags, that to the naked eye appear to be nothing more than paper sacks filled with sand and candles. But
upon closer examination these sacks represent people, each with a name and a story to tell. Each glowing bag represents our shared
vision for a future in which cancer no longer threatens the people we love. When the sun goes down, hundreds of Luminaria light the
way under the stars.

This moving ceremony signifies the lighted path of Hope. It's one of the most inspirational moments at Relay.
When the sun goes down, hundreds of Luminaria light the way under the stars to remember those lost to cancer, those fighting cancer,
and those who have fought cancer and won. This ceremony of light symbolizes the hope and perseverance with which we all continue
to fight.

Please fill out the form below to order Luminaria for your loved ones and friends who have been touched cancer.
You can make a tribute in honor of a cancer survivor, in memory of someone who has lost the battle, or in honor of a caregiver who has
given of themselves to support someone else's fight. Your recipient's name will appear on a Luminaria and will be lit during the Luminaria
Ceremony at 9:00 pm on Friday night.

Our Digital "Celebrations"
With the positive response we got from last year's digital productions, we decided to again make the "Celebration" slide shows
an option for those of you who would like to participate.

In 2007, we are again excited to announce the “Celebration of Life” and “Celebration of Hope” digital presentations.
These presentations will not only include names of the Luminaria recipients, but photos as well! We will be accepting photos of loved
ones for these unique celebrations from now until April 2, 2007. Any registered team participant may submit a photo, and all photos must
be submitted with the completed “Celebration” form NO LATER THAN April 2, 2007 in order to produce the digital shows for Relay
weekend.

You can drop off completed Luminaria or Celebration forms at the Lebanon Valley Cancer Center, or to the ACS Office.

If you'd like to submit photos for the "Celebration" ceremonies, you can do so by e-mail to Brandee Wallace
or drop them off in person at the Lebanon Valley Cancer Center or the ACS Office.
